"USS Callister" Gets a Sequel Episode in Black Mirror Season 7
It's been known that the "USS Callister" episode from Season 4 of Black Mirror would be getting a sequel episode in Season 7. The original episode, which debuted in 2017, was a Star Trek-inspired story featuring Jesse Plemons (Breaking Bad) as a bitter computer programmer who creates digital clones of the co-workers he resents. Milioti co-starred as a new hire who encourages the other clones to revolt against the programmer. The episode also featured Jimmi Simpson, Michaela Coel, Billy Magnussen, Milanka Brooks, Osy Ikhile, and Aaron Paul.

The episode was a huge hit for Black Mirror, so it's not the surprise of the century to see that it's getting a follow-up story. The episode won four Primetime Emmy Awards and is still often talked about as one of the most memorable episodes of Black Mirror. While plot details haven't been shared about the new episode, a Netflix spokesperson teased of the story, "Robert Daly is dead, but for the crew of the USS Callister, their probblems are just beginning."
