The DCEU's Supergirl Shares Fan Art of Her New Haircut

Sasha Calle, who will play Supergirl in The Flash feature film, has shared fan art displaying how she may look with a new short haircut in the DC film.

The actor retweeted a post from 2D illustrator Linnéa with the caption, "Incredible" and a heart emoji. The fan art features Calle's Supergirl floating through the sky in her blue superhero costume and red cape. Two days prior Calle shared a photo displaying her new shorter haircut, which inspired the fan art.

The Flash director Andy Muschietti announced Sasha Calle as the first Latina Supergirl in February. "I saw more than four hundred auditions. The US, Argentina, Brazil, Mexico, Colombia," Muschietti said. "The talent pool was truly amazing and it was very hard to make a decision, but we finally found an actress who was destined to play this role." The director later shared a social media video revealing the moment when Calle discovered she had won the role of Supergirl in The Flash movie.

Recent set photos for The Flash have reintroduced Wayne Manor from 1989's Batman, along with a mysterious cloaked figure.

Directed by Andy Muschietti from a script by Christina Hodson, The Flash stars Ezra Miller, Michael Keaton, Ben Affleck, Sasha Calle, Kiersey Clemons, Ron Livingston, Maribel Verdú, Saroise-Monica Jackson and Rudy Mancuso. The film arrives in theaters Nov. 4, 2022.
