Shawn Levy's Star Wars Movie Gets Major Update

Jonathan Tropper is heading to a galaxy far, far away. The screenwriter has been tapped to pen the screenplay for Shawn Levy's mystery Star Wars movie.

First reported by The InSneider newsletter, Deadline has confirmed that Tropper has boarded the hotly-anticipated sci-fi project that will be directed by Levy. This won't be their first collaboration though, as Tropper previously scripted the Levy-directed features This Is Where I Leave You (2014) and The Adam Project (2022), as well as Kodachrome (2017), which Levy produced under his 21 Laps banner.
