On Nov. 14, at 8pm ET/PT, Harry Potter: Wizards of Baking will premiere on Food Network. The series will also be streaming globally on Max. The series, inspired by the Harry Potter novels and films, will blend "legendary storytelling and fantastical edible creations" as part of a cooking culinary competition series. Each week, culinary artists are tasked with using various foods to recreate some of the most magical moments from the original stories.
Of course, there will be some familiar faces for fans to see when watching the six-episode season. James and Oliver Phelps (Fred and George Weasley) will serve as the hosts, and they'll be joined by culinary judges Carla Hall and Jozef Youssef. Other special guests who can be seen in the series from the Harry Potter franchise include Warwick Davis (Professor Flitwick), Evanna Lynch (Luna Lovegood), and Bonnie Wright (Ginny Weasley).
“With Harry Potter: Wizards of Baking, the confectionary magic coming this November is splendidly real and unlike anything seen before,” reads a statement about the show from Betsy Ayala, Warner Bros. Discovery's head of food content. “By tapping into the incredible fandom of Harry Potter, as well as that of Food Network’s holiday programming, it is a culinary competition that delivers on multiple levels with elevated culinary craftsmanship executed in an enchanted setting and airing during the most wonderful time of year.”
There's more for Harry Potter fans to be happy about on Nov. 14 beyond the debut of Harry Potter: Wizards of Baking. That date will also mark the return of the Harry Potter: Fireplace (Yule Log) stream on Max. Designed to provide Harry Potter-themed ambiance during the holiday season, the fireplace video invites viewers to make their Christmas a little more magical.
