The Justice League is rejoining the MonsterVerse, with DC and Legendary Comics unveiling the covers and an interior art preview of the upcoming seven-issue limited series Justice League vs. Godzilla vs. Kong 2. Available for pre-order beginning March 21, the MonsterVerse sequel series will debut in June.
The reveal showcases Justice League vs. Godzilla vs. Kong 2 #1's main cover by series artist Christian Duce and variant covers by other acclaimed illustrators, including Dan Mora, Gabriel Hardman, Alan Quah, John Giang, Kevin Maguire, and Carlos D'Anda. Duce and colorist Luis Guerrero's interior art is also on display. Duce reteams with Justice League vs. Godzilla vs. Kong writer Brian Buccellato for the eagerly-anticipated seven-issue sequel to the acclaimed series "that continues the battle between the superheroes of the DC Universe and the Titans of Legendary Comics' MonsterVerse."

Justice League vs. Godzilla vs. Kong 2's description reads, "In the aftermath of last year's Justice League vs. Godzilla vs. Kong, Task Force X launches a plan to develop hybrid Titans that Amanda Waller can control to guard against future Titan attacks on our Earth. To stop Task Force X, the Justice League travels to Legendary Earth and must face the dangers of the Hollow Earth, Kong, and Godzilla, King of the Monsters!"
The "Titan-sized" threat will require a "Titan-sized response," as DC and Lengedary promise readers will see "Titanized' versions of DC superheroes and supervillains facing off against Kong, Godzilla, and other Legendary monsters. In addition to new Titans from the Legendary Comics MonsterVerse, the series will feature the comic book return of Lt. Lee Shaw, who first appeared in the 2014 graphic novel Godzilla: Awakening.
Another Exciting Justice League Crossover
DC Comics and Sega also unveiled a first-look preview of their exciting Sonic the Hedgehog and Justice League crossover comic book series. The first issue of DC x Sonic the Hedgehogwill arrive on March 19. The upcoming five-issue crossover series will see the Justice League and Team Sonic unite to save their worlds from a major threat.
Iconic Sonic comic book writer Ian Flynn is writing DC x Sonic the Hedgehog, with art and color by Adam Bryce Thomas and Matt Herms, respectively. In addition to Pablo M. Collar's main cover, DC x Sonic the Hedgehog #1 will arrive with a variant cover by Ethan Young.
Justice League vs. Godzilla vs. Kong 2 #1 will arrive in comic book shops on June 4, 2025.
