The upcoming Jurassic World sequel has gotten its title. Along with the movie's name getting revealed, a brief video teaser has also been released to unveil the official logo for the film.
On X, the official account for Jurassic World shared the teaser. Officially, the sequel has been titled as Jurassic World Rebirth. The logo is reminiscent of the franchise films to come before the new sequel, bearing the classic font along with the familiar T-Rex skeleton, but it comes with the new subtitle. Additionally, two first look photos have also been shared. The reveal comes just under a year before the movie hits the big screen on July 2, 2025.
A synopsis has also been revealed for the sequel, which reads, "Five years after the events of Jurassic World Dominion, the planet’s ecology has proven largely inhospitable to dinosaurs. Those remaining exist in isolated equatorial environments with climates resembling the one in which they once thrived. The three most colossal creatures within that tropical biosphere hold the key to a drug that will bring miraculous life-saving benefits to humankind."
Confirming Scarlett Johansson leads the cast, the official synopsis further details her character as a "skilled covert operations expert Zora Bennett, contracted to lead a skilled team on a top-secret mission to secure genetic material from the world’s three most massive dinosaurs. When Zora’s operation intersects with a civilian family whose boating expedition was capsized by marauding aquatic dinos, they all find themselves stranded on an island where they come face-to-face with a sinister, shocking discovery that’s been hidden from the world for decades."
