Disneyland spotlights the costumes for the Avengers Campus cast members, which represent different Marvel heroes from Spider-Man to Doctor Strange.
Disney's California Adventure has revealed a first look at the costumes for the Avengers Campus cast members.
Each section of the park will have a different themed costume based on the Marvel hero it represents. The Ancient Sanctum features cast members dressed in robes similar to Doctor Strange's, while cast members at Pym Test Kitchens are sporting lab coats. The WEB Supplies cast members have red-and-blue outfits to match Peter Parker's Spider-Man suit, while the Avengers Headquarters cast members wear black and white suits adorned with the Avengers logo. Even the Shwarma Palace members have a bright yellow apron with a matching Shwarma Palace logo.
The video also features Alan Silvestri's Avengers theme playing throughout, ending with the cast members saying, "Avengers Campus, Assemble!" Visitors to the park are referred to as "recruits," adding to the immersive elements of the Campus.
Originally slated to open on July 18, 2020, the grand opening for the Avengers Campus was put on hold when Disney's California Adventure closed its doors due to the ongoing coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. Both Disney's California Adventure and Disneyland re-opened in April, albeit in a limited capacity. Avengers Campus is now slated to open in June, featuring food and attractions inspired by the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
